Newtown Bypass Reopens Following Crash Near Tyler State Park
A crash near the Tyler Park entrance closed the road from the shopping center to Swamp Road.
NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — The Newtown Bypass has reopened following a crash that closed the roadway in the area of the Tyler State Park entrance.
Police said the crash happened around 3:30 p.m. Monday at the intersection of Durham Road and the Newtown Bypass, near the entrance to Tyler State Park.
The crash closed the Newtown Bypass from the Newtown Shopping Center (West Road) to Swamp Road for two hours.

The road was reopened just after 5:30 p.m., police reported.
