NEWTOWN BOROUGH, PA — The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear! The second-best way is to watch “Elf” with good friends and a good drink.

The historic Newtown Theatre will present its fourth annual “Elf…for Grownups” movie event on Friday, December 13. Only elves 21 and older will be admitted to this event. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the movie starts at 8 p.m.

In the hour leading up to the movie guests will enjoy one complimentary drink (beer, wine, canned cocktail, or a signature Elf-themed cocktail), free popcorn, a trivia contest, and a costume contest (Elf costumes optional). Elf-themed prizes will be given to trivia winners, and the best-dressed elf will win a special prize.
