Five Guys, Halal Guys Approved For Newtown Shopping Center
The Village at Newtown Shopping Center will welcome two new restaurants to the plaza.

NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Two popular restaurant franchises will officially open locations in the Village at Newtown Shopping Center following an approval from the Newtown Township Board of Supervisors at their Wednesday meeting.
Five Guys will be moving into the space at 2804 S. Eagle Rd that was formerly held by Saladworks, which closed during the COVID-19 pandemic. The fast food chain is known for their hearty burgers, Cajun fries and milkshakes. Plans call for 23 indoor seats and 10 outdoor seats. An average and maximum of eight employees are expected.
The Halal Guys, which serves Mediterranean fare, will move into the space at 2820 S. Eagle Rd, formerly occupied by Melt Shop. It will be the franchise's first location in Bucks County.
