LANGHORNE, Pa. — Here's an inflation buster for families with young children who are looking to stretch their dollars farther.
A pop-up consignment sale featuring gently-used clothing, toys and gear for infants, children and young families is coming to the Oxford Valley Mall for four days only in early August.

The Just Between Friends consignment sales, typically selling close to 200,000 items, are seasonal happenings where communities come together to buy and sell the best in gently-used and like-new children’s clothing and supplies.
"Everything is geared toward children, from maternity up to teenagers. There's equipment, supplies - anything that you would need for a young family," said Casandra Bartle of Newtown, the Lower Bucks Just Between Friends franchisee. "You're buying high-quality, like new items and everything we offer is 50 to 90 percent below retail price. You can't find that any place else.

"And all the inventory and merchandise is provided by local families who are selling it to raise money to pay their own bills and their own expenses, but they are also shoppers and the sellers who are getting out-loved, out-grown items at a reduced price," she said.
The pop-up store begins with a pre-sale on August 3 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. which is exclusively open to team members, consignors, prime time ticket holders and special guests, including first responders, new and pregnant moms, active military, veterans, teachers, adoptive and foster families.
The store will then be open to the public from August 4 to 7. Admission is free with a timed-entry ticket available online at https://lowerbucks.jbfsale.com. Otherwise there is a $3 fee to enter the store. On the final day of the sale, Sunday, August 7 items without a star will be marked 50 percent off.
"Based on the rising prices and the cost of living, this is a great resource to be able to save money. And you can get everything you need all on one place. You can get everything for the next six months all at once without going from store to store," said Bartle.
“Saving money on essentials isn’t just a want for parents right now, it’s a need,” she adds. “We’re able to provide a sustainable resource for purging closet items and clutter in the house, while also being a one-stop shop for parents and grandparents to buy their children’s next season’s clothing on a budget.”
According to Bartle, families will find everything at the pop-up store for their growing family needs: clothing (newborn to juniors, plus maternity), shoes, indoor and outdoor toys, books, games and puzzles, baby bathing and feeding essentials, baby gear and furniture, travel and safety items, room decor and bedding, strollers, playsets and much more.
"This is considered the fall and winter sale," notes Bartle. "While you'll still find summer stuff, we're not selling summer clothing. For this sale, snowpants, boots and coats, they will be the first to fly off the rack because everybody needs it."
According to Bartle, Just Between Friends ensures that all products purchased and sold meet mandatory safety standards.
"Staff members stay up-to-date on current recalled items and will ensure that there are no recalled products at the sale," she said.
In addition, a non-staff product safety specialist makes sure that all items are safety-checked to meet current standards, including essential baby gear like strollers and car seats.
At the end of each Just Between Friends sale, items that are not sold or returned to the owners are donated to local organizations, which help local women, children and families, serving groups that provide clothing closets, crisis centers, transitional emergency care, food banks and many other services.

"Thanks to the generosity of our JBF consignors, last year we donated 11,600 items with a $45,000 value that was distributed to five different organizations. It's a lot of stuff and it goes pretty far," said Bartle. "Families helping families - it doesn't get any better than that."
