Newtown Borough Declares Snow Emergency
Under the snow emergency declaration, parking on designated snow emergency routes is prohibited.
NEWTOWN BOROUGH, PA — Newtown Borough has declared a snow emergency effective at 7 p.m. on Saturday, January 18 through 7 a.m. on Monday, January 20.
Under the Snow Emergency Declaration, parking on snow emergency routes is prohibited. Vehicles parked along the routes should be removed immediately to allow for snow clearing.
Designated snow emergency routes include State Street from Jefferson Street south to the borough line, Washington Avenue from the Newtown Creek to the borough line, and any other street posted as a borough snow emergency route.

Depending upon conditions, the snow emergency may be shortened or extended.
Forecasters are predicting 2 to 4 inches in Lower Bucks County, possibly more depending upon the storm's track.
