Newtown Creek Clean-Up Event Is This Saturday
The Newtown Creek Coalition will host a fall clean-up event at the creek this Saturday, Oct. 19 from 9 a.m. to noon.
NEWTOWN, PA — The Newtown Creek Coalition will host a fall clean-up event at the creek this Saturday, Oct. 19 from 9 a.m. to noon.
Volunteers should meet up behind Penn Community Bank on N. Sycamore Street.
"Wear your long-sleeved shirt and jeans, grab your work gloves, and put on heavy boots to help clean the creek," organizers said in an event announcement.

Children under 18 years old must have a supervising adult and waiver forms signed by a parent.
The Newtown Creek Coalition was established in 2006. Regular meetings are held at 7 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month at First National Bank, 9 W Centre Avenue, Newtown. Learn more.
