Newtown Township Cancels Meetings, Parks And Rec Programs

The closure is in place through April 1.

NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — In light of the concerns surrounding the spread of coronavirus, Newtown Township announced Friday that it is suspending all non-essential public board and committee meetings, as well as all Parks and Recreation classes.

The closure is in place through April 1.

The Newtown Township Administrative Departments remain open but direct access to staff is restricted. "The public is encouraged to call or email with any questions/concerns rather than speaking in person," the township announced. More information is here.
