PA Coronavirus Cases Rise To 45
Four additional presumptive positive cases of the new coronavirus, or COVID-19, have been confirmed in Pennsylvania.
HARRISBURG, PA — Four additional presumptive positive cases of the new coronavirus, or COVID-19, have been confirmed in Pennsylvania, officials said Saturday morning. The cases include two adults from Montgomery County, one adult from Philadelphia County and one adult from Chester County.
All are either in isolation at home or being treated at the hospital, officials said.

This brings the statewide total to 45 cases as of Saturday.

The spread of the virus prompted Governor Tom Wolf to shut schools down statewide for two weeks. The closure was announced Friday and is effective immediately.
According to Pennsylvania Health Secretary Rachel Levine, more than 340 Pennsylvanians have been tested. Of those, 145 of those have been negative and more than 100 tests are pending.
