Passenger Arrested Following Traffic Stop In Newtown Township

Other charges are pending after suspected narcotics and drug paraphernalia were discovered and seized as evidence.

NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — A passenger was taken into custody on an active arrest warrant following a traffic stop on Jan. 14 at 11:20 p.m.

Police stopped the driver of a Chevy Impala for committing a vehicle code violation in the area of the Newtown Bypass and Penns Trail. As a result of the investigation, a passenger was taken into custody on an active arrest warrant.

Suspected narcotics and drug paraphernalia were also discovered and seized as evidence. Charges
are pending.
