NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Members of the Newtown Rotary Club will be at McCaffrey’s Market in Newtown on Saturday, May 3, collecting food for the less fortunate.
The Rotarians will be at the store from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., accepting donations of non-perishable food items, including cereal, crackers, oatmeal, canned fruit and vegetables, peanut butter, jelly, soup, applesauce, canned meats, and more.
In addition to the non-perishables, the Rotarians will be accepting cash donations, which will be matched dollar-for-dollar by the Gene and Marlene Epstein Foundation up to $5,000 for the Wrightstown Food Cupboard.

The food cupboard serves a lifeline for anyone who needs extra sustenance. Thanks to a generous community, it's well stocked with all the essentials, from canned vegetables and fruit to cereal bars.
To thank shoppers for their donations, the Rotarians will be handing out free reusable grocery bags while supplies last.
