2-day festival opens the fall season in Bucks County with autumn fun. Here's what you need to know.

LAHASKA, PA — Peddler's Village will officially kick off the fall season with a two-day Scarecrow Festival this weekend.
On Saturday, Sept. 13 and Sunday, Sept. 14, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Peddler’s Village will host its annual Scarecrow Festival, an autumn-themed weekend featuring scarecrow workshops, live music, pumpkin painting, activities, and outdoor food and drinks.
Pre-registration for the scarecrow workshops is strongly encouraged as walk-in opportunities will be limited. Workshops include a designated space, materials, and step-by-step instructions to create a life-sized scarecrow to take home. For those who cannot attend the Scarecrow Festival, additional workshop dates are Saturday, September 20 and Saturday, September 27.

At the heart of the celebration is "Scarecrows in the Village," a display of more than 100 handmade creations that are on display throughout the village from now through Oct. 19.
For six fun-filled weeks, visitors can view and take pictures with 150 scarecrows lining the brick pathways of the village. Some are inspired by famous characters, some are humorous, some are scary – but all of them are carefully handmade by Philly-area residents and organizations.

Other events during Scarecrow Season include a Pet Photography Exhibit, which will be on display through Oct. 19, and a Food Truck Thursday event on Thursday, Sept. 18.
In October, Peddler’s Village will continue the fall celebrations with the annual OctoberFeast weekend on October 11 and 12 and two Halloween parties — the Slightly Batty Halloween Wing-Ding for kids on Saturday, October 25 and the Deadly Silent Disco Party for adults on Friday, October 24.
Every day, visitors can explore 60 specialty shops and boutiques, enjoy dining experiences at restaurants and eateries, visit the indoor family entertainment center known as Giggleberry Fair, and stroll on winding paths through seasonal landscaping. Guests can also stay overnight at the on-site Golden Plough Inn, a charming hotel with more than 60 rooms, many of which have recently been renovated.
