Snow Emergency Declared In Newtown Township
During a snow emergency, parking is prohibited on any road or street within the township following a one-inch or more snowfall.
NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Newtown Township has declared a snow emergency effective at noon on Sunday, January 19, and continuing until noon on Monday, January 20.
During a snow emergency, parking is prohibited on any road or street within the township following a one-inch or more snowfall until the snow has been completely plowed for the full width of the cartway.
Depending upon conditions, the snow emergency may be extended.

“Please do not park your vehicles on roads so that the Newtown Township Department of Public Works can safely and efficiently clear the snow,” said police.
Forecasters are predicting 2 to 4 inches in Lower Bucks County, possibly more depending upon the storm's track.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for Lower Bucks County and a winter storm warning for upper Bucks County.
