Some PA Coronavirus Patients Hospitalized, Numbers Fluctuating

The state is not providing specific data on coronavirus hospitalizations because the numbers are frequently changing.

HARRISBURG, PA — Pennsylvania has 76 cases of the novel coronavirus as of Monday, with "a number" of those people hospitalized, state health officials said.

According to Nate Wardle, the Pennsylvania Health Department press secretary, the state is not providing information on hospitalization rates because the numbers are changing rapidly.

"We are not providing data on the number of individuals who are currently hospitalized, because that number is changing frequently," Wardle said, noting "there are a number of individuals who are hospitalized."

Those that are not hospitalized are in isolation at home, officials have said.

As of Monday afternoon, Pennsylvania has not reported any deaths associated with the disease.
