St. Andrew Cancels All Events, Activities Amid Coronavirus Spread

NEWTOWN, PA — Saint Andrew Catholic Church in Newtown announced Thursday that all church-related events and activities are canceled starting March 13 due to the spread of coronavirus in the region.

"Due to the potential of community spread, we will err on the side of caution and be canceling all Parish events/activities," the parish announced on its website.

The mass schedule will still continue for the time being, Monsignor Michael Picard said in a message to the church community.
