NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — A Star Wars Holiday Brunch will benefit Nate’s Light Foundation and celebrate the life of a Bucks County boy taken too soon on Sunday, Dec. 21, at the American Legion Hall on Linden Avenue.

Santa is expected to arrive at the brunch in grand style and then sit down to breakfast with his young local admirers.

“What better way to experience that warm holiday feeling of giving than by attending our brunch and raising funds for Nat’s Foundation,” said organizer Heather Roberts of the Keystone Community Coalition, which is organizing the fundraiser. “Our brunch will have it all - great food, great people, a great experience - and all for a great cause.”

Brunch will be served from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. by local caterer Joe Garvey, who is known for his tableside manner, his generosity, and his excellent cooking.

The brunch menu includes fluffy pancakes, freshly made waffles, omelets, bacon, sausage, pastry, muffins, French toast with homemade whipped cream and berries, scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, assorted muffins, and lots more.

“Joe Garvey is an amazing cook. The food was so good last year and the French toast he made was off the charts,” said Roberts. “Everything he makes is absolutely over the top. It is so good.”

In addition to brunch, Santa will be available to meet with his young admirers, to hear their wish lists, and to pose for photographs.

The cost is $20, $10 for kids ages 3 to 10, and free for ages two and under. The event is being presented by the Bucks County-based nonprofit Keystone Community Coalition. To order tickets for the brunch or to become a sponsor, click here.

Proceeds will benefit Nate’s Light Foundation, which is dedicated to supporting families affected by rare genetic diagnoses through financial assistance, emotional support, and memory-making experiences.

The foundation provides resources to help offset the financial strain associated with unpaid family medical leave and extended hospital stays. Its mission is to alleviate the burdens families face during critical medical journeys, allowing them to focus on healing and togetherness while creating meaningful, lasting memories.
