Alleged Underwear Thief Fighting Peeping Charges in King of Prussia

According to Montgomery Media, a Dresher man already awaiting a trial for allegedly breaking into a Springfield woman's home in January and stealing her underwear, is fighting charges he also used a camera to look up another woman's dress at the King of Prussia Mall in May.

Kornwell Chan, of Dresher, was arrested in January 2012 for allegedly burglarizing the home of a woman he as stalking and stealing her underwear and was arrested again in May for another incident in which he allegedly used a camera to look up a woman’s skirt at a JC Penny in the King of Prussia Mall.

In that second incident, a loss prevention officer reportedly recognized him from a flier that was handed out a few months prior. The flier was apparently created after an incident in September 2011 in which a man was spotted looking up a woman’s dress with a hidden camera.

Chan's lawyer, Stephen M. Geday, reportedly filed a motion asking a county judge to review the charges and dismiss them "if insufficient evidence be presented."

Chan is reportedly in county jail awaiting trial and faces multiple counts of invasion of privacy charges.
