Drug Ring Includes Participation from a Norristown Man

James "Twin" Adams admits to role in three-county bust

According to an article in The Reporter, James "Twin" Adams, 47, of the first block of Hartranft Avenue, pleaded guilty in Montgomery County Court to corrupt organizations, possession with intent to deliver cocaine and conspiracy in connection with incidents that occurred between November 2008 and May 2011.

The incidents were connected to the recent three-county drug bust dubbed as "Operation Heads Up." Adams said, according to the article, that he admitted his role with the alleged Montgomery County Drug King, though the cases also encompassed Chester and Philadelphia county incidents, as well.

The Reporter states that Adams will face up to decades in prison for his role in the ring. He will face trial later this year with Judge William R. Carpenter.
