The religious organization in Norristown hosted a safe night of games, crafts and fellowship.
The Kingdom Family Fellowship hosted a ‘Hallelujah Night’ for children and families with games, costumes, face-painting and more in Norristown on Halloween, Oct. 31.
The event, attended by families and friends, with costumed children playing games like bowling and making crafts, was held in a brightly-decorated room at the Faith & Hope Church of the Nazarene, starting 6 p.m.
Gloria Savage-Mason, sister of the fellowship’s pastor, Marvin Savage, made the rounds from table to table, making sure that everyone was having fun. According to Savage-Mason, this was their first Hallelujah Night for the children.

“We know it can be dangerous out there,” she said. “We’re trying to do something positive for them.”
The children snacked on food, did crafts, played games, had their faces painted and won prizes. “Everybody’s a winner,” said Savage-Mason, at Hallelujah Night.
