Man Nabbed After He Was Accused of Shooting Another Man in Leg, Say Police

Following a Sunday shooting at the 500 block of Noble Street in Norristown, Marcus Stewart was arrested and charged with the shooting, say police.

A man was shot in the leg at the 500 block of Noble Street in Norristown on Oct. 20 around 6 p.m., say police.

The man, 31 years old, was reported to be in “good condition” as of Monday afternoon, according to Norristown police.

Police say that they arrested Marcus Stewart, 21, and charged him with the shooting.

According to court documents Stewart was arrested on Sunday and is being charged with simple assault, aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person, firearms not to be carried without a license and propelling a missile into an occupied vehicle.

He is being held in the Montgomery County Correctional Facility in lieu of posting his bail, which is set at $25,000, according to court documents.
