Man Steals $400 of Baby Formula, Flees in Cadillac, Police Say
The man allegedly told employees he forgot his check book, then took the baby formula with him before fleeing the scene in a Cadillac.

Norristown Police are searching for a man who allegedly stole $400 worth of Gerber Good Start baby formula from Thriftway, before fleeing the scene in a Cadillac.
On Monday at 4:21 p.m., police responded to a report of a retail theft at the Thriftway on the 800 block of Dekalb Street. The owner told police that a black man came into the store and filled a shopping cart with nearly $400 in baby formula prior to approaching the register, the report states.
The man then told an employee that he left his checkbook in his car, and he continued walking out of the store with the items despite requests from the employee to leave the baby formula inside, according to the report.

He then fled the scene northbound on Dekalb Street in a Cadillac bearing Pennsylvania registration HPM-7680, the report states.
The owner stated in the report that the entire incident was captured on surveilance video, which he would release to police in the near future.
