NASD to Join Pioneer Athletic League

Norristown Area School District has been accepted into the Pioneer Athletic League.

The vote by the Pioneer Athletic Conference was unanimous, The Times Herald said.

Middle school and freshman teams will make the switch for the 2015-16 school year; high school teams for the 2016-17 school year.

“I think it’s going to be a move that everyone will see is going to help our student athletes. It’s going to prepare them for success,” Norristown Athletic Director Tony Palladino told The Times Herald.
