The Norristown Municipal Council on Wednesday night voted unanimously to hire a recreation specialist.
The recreation specialist will work for the municipal recreation department alongside the director of parks and recreation, The Times Herald said.
“William Plichta, the parks and recreation director, fully supports this,” Municipal Administrator Crandall Jones said, according to The Times Herald. The annual position, expected to pay around $32,000 per year, would be supplemented with seasonal help.
