Small Fire Reported at Norris Apartments

A small fire broke out Monday on the roof of the Norris Apartments, the Norristown Fire Department said.

The building was the scene of a fatal four-alarm fire in early February.

Beverly Ann Brinkley, 61, was killed in that fire, authorities said at the time.

The fire on Monday, Feb. 23, occurred as repairs were being made to the 23-unit structure, The Times Herald said. The fire was quickly brought under control, Fire Chief Thomas O’Donnell said.
