State Rep. Candidate Rochelle Culbreath Picks Up Endorsement From PA NOW PAC
Rochelle Culbreath is a Democrat running for the new 54th House District in Montgomery County. She won the endorsement of a women's group.

NORRISTOWN, PA — Rochelle Culbreath, a former Norristown Borough Council member who is seeking nomination to the state House of Representatives, has announced that her candidacy has picked up a significant endorsement.
Culbreath's campaign announced that the candidate has been endorsed by the Pennsylvania National Organization for Women, which is the state chapter of a national group that bills itself as the country's largest feminist political organization.
"PA NOW PAC is proud to support Rochelle. She was unanimously endorsed by the PAC members," PA NOW President Nina Ahmad said in a statement.

Culbreath's campaign said that the candidate, who is a champion for women's rights, is "honored" to have the endorsement of the group.
Culbreath, 53, was the first Black Norristown borough councilwoman ever and she was also the body's first-ever Black president.

She has strong roots in the Norristown community.

The newly created 54th District in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives encompasses the boroughs of Norristown and Conshohocken as well as Plymouth Township.
