Sterigere Street Closed This Week
Sterigere street is closing for railroad crossing repairs.
According to the Municipality of Norristown, CSX will be making railroad crossing repairs and upgrades to Sterigere Street this week.
The road will be closed between Stanbridge Street and Harding Boulevard from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. starting Monday, Nov. 12 through Friday, Nov. 16 while repairs are being made. The street will be closed to all traffic. Drivers should seek alternate routes during those times.
The repairs were originally scheduled to be made Oct. 29 thru Friday, Nov. 3., but were rescheduled to do complications caused by Hurricane Sandy.
