West Norriton Celebrates Community Day This Saturday

A full day of family fun and activities.

West Norristown will be holding its annual Community Day from noon to 4 p.m. this Saturday, May 18 on the grounds of the Norristown Area High School. 

Expect a day of family fun, food, games and more. Kids can enjoy pony rides, costumed characters, clowns, tattoo artists, moon bounces and magicians and have a chance to watch demonstrations by the Lower Providence Police K-9 Unit, Montgomery County’s Bomb Squad and a helicopter landing.  

The party continues in the evening with live music from Ken & Rick from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. leading up to the fireworks display.

Don’t forget to bring your used bikes for the Norristown Rotary Club’s Used Bike Drive! The Rotary club will be collecting adult and kids bikes to send to Guatemala, Nicaragua, Alabania, and other countries in need.

Donated bikes should be rust free. No tricycles, but bikes with flat tires or in need of some repair are accepted.
