Demographics Study, Selection of New Member on North Allegheny School Board Agenda
Wednesday's meeting begins at 7 p.m.
It will be a busy, and likely long evening for the North Allegheny School Board Wednesday.
Demographics & Feasibility Study
There will be a presentation by the administration that includes an update of information related to the Demographic and Feasibility Study, the district stated in an email to parents and district employees last Friday.

The email also indicated that redistricting scenarios will not be shared as a part of that presentation.
Analysis of the Demographic and Feasibility Study has been at the heart of the sometimes-contentious debate over superintendent Superintendent Raymond Gualtieri's recommendation to close Peebles Elementary School at the end of the current school year.

Filling Board Vacancy
After the regular meeting is concluded, the board will interview 12 applicants for the vacancy on the board left by last month's resignation of Beth Ludwig.
(Editor's note: 14 initially applied for the position, but two withdrew their names as of March 20 at 4:25 p.m.)
Ludwig said the discourse over the proposed closing of Peebles Elementary School had become too intense.

Following the interviews, the board will vote to select a new member. The oath of office will be administered immediately following acceptance of the candidate. The new board member will assume his/her duties immediately.
