Here's a look at five things happening in and around the community this weekend.

When/Where:Â 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26 at Northland Public Library.Â
Why Go: The book group meets on the fourth Saturday of each month to discuss books that have often formed the outline of our political and economic philosophies. No reservation is required and new participants are always welcome.

When/Where:Â 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26 at North Allegheny Senior High School. Â
Why Go: Enjoy a night of coffee, cake and acting with this original Saturday Night Live-type variety show put on by Actors’ Society students.
Admission:Â Free. Donations will be accepted for charity.Â

2013 Autism Frost Bite 5K
When/Where: 8 a.m. registration begins, and 10 a.m. race begins Saturday, Jan. 26 at the North Park Boathouse and Rose Barn in Allison Park.
Why Go: The 2013 Autism Frostbite 5K benefits the Advisory Board on Autism and Related Disorders better known as ABOARD, the Pittsburgh-based nonprofit provides support to those with autism and their families. Includes a 1-mile Kids Fun Run at 11 a.m. followed by an awards ceremony and pizza.
Admission: $25 per person or $1 per child to enter the Fun Run. Runners may sign up for the 5K on the day of the event Click here for more information.

International Dinner
When/Where: 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26 at Sewickley Academy. Â
Why Go: The annual dinner promotes awareness of different cultures and countries around the world. Dinner begins at 4:30 pm in the Middle and Senior School cafeteria. Cultural performances begin at 6 p.m. in Rea Auditorium.Â
Admission:Â Free.

When/Where: 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday; 2 and 7 p.m. Sunday at the O’Reilly Theater, Pittsburgh Public Theater’s home in the heart of the Cultural District.Â
Why Go: See history come alive at this Tony-winning "Best Musical."
Admission: $29 to $60. Students and age 26 and younger $15.75 with valid ID. Family Fun Packs, with two student and two adult tickets, are available for $100. For tickets call 412-316-1600 or visit ppt.org
