McCandless Grocery Store No Longer Accepts WIC Vouchers
The federally funded program is for income- and medically-eligible pregnant women, postpartum mothers, breastfeeding mothers, and children under 5.

A McCandless grocery stores is no longer participating in the Women, Infants and Children supplemental food and nutrition program.
Kuhn’s at 745 West Ingomar Road no longer accepts WIC vouchers, according to the Allegheny County Health Department.
Other stores no longer taking the vouchers are Kathmandu Mini Market in Carrick and Nepali Bazaar in Brentwood.

More than 100 grocery stores throughout Allegheny County participate in WIC, a federally-funded program for income- and medically-eligible pregnant women, postpartum mothers, breastfeeding mothers, and children under 5.
