Update: Multiple Crashes Slow Traffic on Parkway North
There are no immediate reports of injuries.
Several accidents near the Perrysville interchange of the Parkway north are snarling traffic Tuesday morning. At one point, all inbound lanes and the entrance to the HOV lanes were closed. All have since reopened, and PennDOT is temporarily lifting the occupancy restrictions on the HOV lanes, meaning all vehicles, regardless of the number of occupants, can use them.
PennDOT said drivers would be wise to consider alternate routes.
