New North Hills Ribs-Focused Restaurant Debuts
A new eatery specializing in barbecue has opened in the North Hills.
WEXFORD, PA — The bustling dining scene in the North Hills got even busier with this week's opening of Dee Jay's BBQ Ribs & Grille. The new restaurant is located on Brandt School Road in the former Bella Frutetto space.
Dee Jay's is promising "legendary fall off the bone ribs." But the restaurant does have other offerings besides ribs.
Menu entrees also include pork ribeye, salmon, pan fried cod and barbecue chicken. A variety of sandwich and salad options also are available; appetizers include skillet spoonbread, onion loaf, pulled pork sidewinders and a slab of bacon.

According to the restaurant website, Dee Jay's originated more than 40 years ago in Weirton, WV and quickly built a loyal clientele. The restaurant since has added locations in Collier and Washington.
The Wexford location will be open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. and 11 a.m.-10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
