North Allegheny Awards Bid for Baierl Center Repairs

The North Allegheny School Board Wednesday approved the awarding of a $85,000 bid from Burchick Construction for repairs to the Baierl Center.

A frozen sprinkler line in the entrance foyer area caused significant damage over the weekend of Jan. 26-27. The center has been closed since then.

The District’s insurance carrier will be supporting all of the costs for the cleanup and repairs that are above a $25,000 deductible. 

It's hoped the center will be able to reopen by the end of next week.
