And no, it's not a store that sells a lot of stuff with Polka-dots, as this slightly feeble minded reporter first thought.
"My friend and I came up with the idea," explained Lang. "We love the Polka-Dot (hand) bags, and that's where Polka-Dots Presents came from."

"I sell everything ladies would like, and gentlemen would like to come and buy for their ladies. From home decor items, to clothes, jewelry, accessories, handbags and all that fun stuff."
Hoping not to look too much like a fish out of water, I ask Lang to describe her shop's style.
"I try to make things either cohesive or real different, that's what I try to go for," she said. "I like things that aren't ordinary, that you can't find in any little store or up at the mall. I want people to come here because I have different and unique."
Looking around, I agree that the options are nearly endless.
"There are a lot of unique things. I carry unique lines of jewelry, housewares, table tops, non-perishable gourmet wine glasses, and baby gifts -- I got a little bit of everything," Lang said. "If you're in a hurry, this is a good place to stop. Then you walk out with your Polka Dot present all wrapped and ready to go."
