Police Search For Suspect In Deadly McCandless Hit-And-Run
A pedestrian was killed Saturday night in a suburban Pittsburgh community.
McCANDLESS, PA — Police are requesting public assistance in identifying the driver and vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash over the weekend.
The victim was identified as Donald Leach, 78.
Leach was struck as he crossed McKnight Road at Blazier Drive Saturday night at approximately 10:15pm near the Pine Creek Shopping Center. The vehicle involved is believed to be a black Honda with heavy damage to the front and passenger side of the vehicle. The vehicle is missing the passenger mirror and a large piece of molding.
