Traffic Alert: Route 8 Road Restrictions in Place for Monday

The work will take place in nearby Hampton.

Motorists on Route 8 may want to be on the lookout for orange cones on Route 8 in nearby Hampton Township next week.

PennDOT will begin work on the highway Monday, Aug. 12, weather permitting.

Crews will be digging test holes over utilities for a future project at the intersection of Route 8 and Duncan Avenue, according to PennDOT.

Single lane closures will occur as needed weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Friday, Aug 23.
