The Northampton Township Police Department has released their most recent incident blotter, reporting several car accidents and DUIs.
RICHBORO, PA — The Northampton Township Police Department has released their most recent incident blotter, covering arrests, traffic accidents, and thefts, to name a few things.

Monday, Nov. 22

- Police responded to Newtown Richboro Road after reports of a potential DUI; calls made to police reported a white sedan driving all over the road. After finding and pulling over the vehicle, police arrested the driver for driving under the influence.
- People arrived at Alan Road after reports of a two vehicle accident. One driver attempted to pass another and accidentally stuck the other drivers' front bumper. No injuries were reported and neither vehicle required towing.
- Police arrived at 2nd Street Pike after reports of a two vehicle accident. One driver struck another driver's vehicle after attempting to leave a parking lot. No injuries were reported and neither vehicle required towing.
Tuesday, Nov. 23
- Police arrived at Newtown Richboro Road at Township Road after reports of a two vehicle accident. One driver rear ended another. No injuries were reported and neither vehicle required towing.
- Police arrived at Lynford Road at West Georgianna Drive after reports of a two vehicle hit-and-run was reported. After parking his car in the roadway in front of his home, the homeowner said another driver sideswiped their car and left the scene.
- Police arrived at a residence off of Jacksonville Road after a fire was reported. Smoke was seen throughout the residence when police arrived. The Northampton Fire Department located the fire in a kitchen wall and extinguished it.
- Police arrived at Temperance Lane for a report of a theft from a resident's mailbox. An unknown subject stole the mail and several packages from her residence. The CID is currently investigating. Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact the police department.

- Police arrived at Lower Holland Road after a report of a single vehicle accident. The driver drove off the road and struck a telephone pole. The driver sustained minor injuries and his vehicle was towed.
- Police observed a two vehicle traffic accident on Hatboro Road at Almshouse Road. One driver was attempting to make a turn and struck another driver. No injuries were reported and neither vehicle required towing.
- Police arrived at Old Bristol Road at Bridgetown Pike after a report of a single vehicle accident, caused by a driver hitting a deer that was on the road. No injuries were reported and the vehicle did not require towing.
Thursday, Nov. 25
- Police arrived at Bridgetown Pike at Bellwood Drive after reports were made of a hit-and-run accident. The driver of the vehicle that was struck reported a tan colored GMC/CHEV type SUV with tinted windows that swerved into his lane of travel and struck his mirror. The vehicle then fled northbound on Bridgetown Pike. No injuries were reported and the vehicle did not require towing.
Friday, Nov. 26
- Police responded to a residence off Long Stem Lane for a report of a fire. The house had a smoke haze throughout the first and second story. The smoke was found to be coming from the heating unit in the basement.
- Police arrived at the 1500 block of East Bristol Road for a report of a two vehicle traffic accident after one vehicle rear ended another. No injuries were reported and neither vehicle required towing.
Saturday, Nov. 27
- Police initiated a traffic stop in the area of 2nd Street Pike at Bustleton Pike for a traffic violation. The driver was taken into custody for driving under the influence.
- Police arrived at 2nd Street Pike at Almshouse Road for a report of a two vehicle traffic accident. One driver turned left and collided with another vehicle. No injuries were reported, but one vehicle required towing.
- Police arrived at Bridgetown Pike at Tall Oaks Drive for a report of a single vehicle accident after a driver struck a deer on the road. No injuries were reported and the vehicle did not require towing.
Sunday, Nov. 28
- Police initiated a traffic stop on Buck Road near Old Bristol Road for a traffic violation. The driver was then taken into custody for driving under the influence.
- Police arrived at Bustleton Pike at Knowles Avenue after reports of a two vehicle accident. One driver struck another while turning into an intersection. The driver of the struck car sustained minor injuries and required a tow.
- Police initiated a traffic stop in the area of Woodenbridge Road and Kings Way for a traffic violation. The driver was then taken into custody for violation of ignition interlock.
- Police arrived at a residence off of West Bristol Road for a report of an assault. A subject was taken into custody for simple assault.
