Churchville Nature Center Mourns Passing Of Longtime Educator

CHURCHVILLE, PA — The Churchville Nature Center has announced the recent passing of one of their longtime educators.

Judith G. Foulke of Warminster passed away on Friday, Jan. 7 at Doylestown Hospital, surrounded by her family at the age of 69.

Foulke had been a part-time educator at the Churchville Nature Center since 1996. As one of the center's many educators, she oversaw environmental education programs, scout programs and storytelling campfires, some of which have been recorded and published on YouTube.

Foulke spent much of her time as an educator in the Lenape Village part of the center, where she shared the history and stories of the Lenape Native Americans who inhabited the area for hundreds of years.

She is survived by her three sons, their spouses/partners, two brothers, two grandchildren, and her husband Kenneth, who she was married to for over 44 years.

"We send our deepest sympathies to her family and friends," the nature center said in a statement on their official Facebook account. "Her smiles and friendship here at the center will be very much missed."

Contributions to her memory can be made to the Churchville Nature Center, located on 501 Churchville Lane in Churchville.
