Fight Breaks Up After Police Arrival: Northampton Twp. Police Report
In other reports, police investigated several accidents, a suspicious piece of mail, and stopped a juvenile operating an E-Bike.
NORTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA — The Northampton Township Police Department reported the following incidents between Sept. 22 and Oct. 5:
Sept. 22
- Disturbance - Patrol responded to the 200 block of Buck Road for a group of individuals who were fighting. Once on location, some individuals were verbally arguing. Patrol stood by to keep things calm and everyone left the area.

- Juvenile - Patrol observed and stopped an individual who was operating an E-Bike on Upper Holland Road near Township Road. Patrol spoke to them about the rules regarding E-Bikes and their parents were contacted.
Sept. 24
- Traffic Accident - Patrol responded to the area of Hatboro Road and Syracuse Lane for a traffic accident. Unit 1 was traveling on Syracuse Lane and had stopped for the stop sign. Unit 1 then entered Hatboro Road and made contact with unit 2 which was traveling northbound on Hatboro Road. Tow was required.

- Fraud - Complainant reports that they mailed a check by using a USPS drop box and found that an unknown person(s) cashed the check. Information was gathered and the case was assigned to detectives.
Sept. 26
- Traffic Accident - Patrol responded to the 200 block of Bridgetown Pike for a traffic accident. Unit 1 was traveling on Bridgetown Pike when a deer entered the roadway. As a result, contact was made. Tow was not required.
Sept. 27
- Road Hazard - Patrol responded to the 100 block of 2nd Street Pike for the report of a large tree branch on the roadway. Once on location, patrol removed the branch from the roadway.
Sept. 28
- Traffic Accident - Patrol responded to the 1400 block of Bridgetown Pike for a traffic accident. Unit 1 was traveling on Bridgetown Pike when a deer entered the roadway. As a result, contact was made. Tow was not required.
Sept. 29
- Disabled Vehicle - Patrol responded to the area of Elm Avenue and Brook Drive for a disabled vehicle. Once on scene, the vehicle was found with a mechanical issue. The vehicle was able to be jumped and was driven away.
- Traffic Accident - Patrol responded to the area of Bridgetown Pike and East Holland Road for a traffic accident. Unit 1 was traveling on East Holland Road and came to a stop at the stop sign. Unit 1 then turned onto Bridgetown Pike and struck unit 2, which was traveling on Bridgetown Pike. Tow was required.
Sept. 30
- Traffic Accident - Patrol responded to a parking lot in the 1000 block of 2nd Street Pike for a traffic accident. Unit 1 was pulling into a parking space when it struck unit 2 which was parked. Tow was not required.
Oct. 1
- Suspicious Incident - Patrol responded to a home in the Ivlyand section for the report of a suspicious incident. The complainant reported that they were receiving text messages from an unknown number indicating that they were inside their home. Patrol checked the home, and everything checked out okay.
Oct. 2
- Fire - Patrol responded to the area of East Elizabeth Lane for a fire. Once on location, it was found that a trash truck had smoke coming out from a discarded battery. The Northampton Township Fire Department arrived on scene, and the fire was extinguished.
Oct. 3
- Scam - Complainant stopped by the police station to speak to an officer regarding a suspicious piece of mail that they received. Patrol looked at the letter with the complainant, and it was found to be fraudulent. No information was provided to the sender of the mail.
Oct. 4
- Traffic Accident - Patrol responded to the 1000 block of Almshouse Road for a traffic accident. Unit 1 was turning from a parking lot onto Almshouse Road. While pulling onto the roadway, unit 1 made contact with unit 2, which was traveling on Alshouse Road. Tow was not required.
Oct. 5
- Found Dog - Patrol responded to the area of Great Oak Drive for a found dog. Once on location, the owner was located.
