Firefighters Stress Prevention At Open House Events In Northampton
This year's National Fire Prevention theme is "Charge Into Fire Safety: Lithium-Ion Batteries in Your Home."

NORTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA — In celebration of Fire Prevention Week, the Northampton Township Fire Department will open the doors to its three stations on Friday, Oct. 10.
Open house events will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Churchville station on Hatboro Road, the Richboro station on Newtown-Richboro Road, and the Holland Station on East Holland Road.
"Come join us for great fire prevention activities, climb on the trucks and meet your firefighters and emergency medical staff," said Northampton Township Fire Chief Adam Selisker. "Tri-Hampton Rescue Squad will also be there to show off its vehicles. And don't forget. We always have free snacks and giveaways."
