Fitzpatrick Honoring Veterans At Churchville School Assembly
The U.S. congressman will be at the Churchville Elementary School for a Veterans Day service featuring 60 veterans.

NORTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA —U.S. Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick will honor veterans at Council Rock’s Churchville Elementary School on Friday.
Fitzpatrick will join 60 area veterans and Churchville Elementary School students and staff for a Veterans Day Celebration from 8:30-10:30 a.m. on Friday.
About 60 veterans —all of whom are related to CES students and staff —are expected to attend.

Churchville Elementary School will be decked out in red, white, and blue, school officials said.
Veterans will arrive at 8:30 a.m. for a continental breakfast and will be treated to an assembly by students. The CR South marching band will perform, and a retired US Marine Corps honor guard will display the nation’s colors.

Fitzpatrick, who will serve as the special guest speaker, will address the assembly and present each veteran with a commendation for their service.
The schedule is as follows:
- 8:30 a.m. —Veterans Arrive: (fire truck welcome)
- 8:30-9:15 a.m. —Continental breakfast in the Library
- 9:30 a.m. —Veterans Day Assembly in Multipurpose Room.
The assembly will feature:
- The Council Rock South Marching Band, USMC Honor Guard to present the colors.
- CES students singing the songs of the military branches.
- Remarks from school personnel
- Congressman Fitzpatrick to give commendations to veterans, highlighting WWII veterans who plan to be in attendance (one is 94 years old)
- Honor Walk around the school with the children.
