George Komelasky, Northampton Supervisor, Passes Away At 66
The longtime supervisor died over the weekend, sources confirm.

Northampton Supervisor George Komelasky passed away over the weekend, sources confirm.
"It is with a heavy heart that we write to tell of the loss of a very dear friend, George Komelasky. He served his community with honesty and integrity....he will be missed by many. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Pat and their wonderful family. Rest in peace, George," the Bucks County Republican Committee said via its official Facebook page.
The Bucks County Courier Times reports Komelasky, 66, was a resident of the township for more than 40 years. He was reelected to the board in 2015, for a term to expire in 2021, the report said.

The cause of his death was not immediately known, however, the Courier Times reports he was recently recovering from a fall.
