Holland Homicide Victim Was Strangled: Bucks Co. Coroner
Samantha Rementer, 31, died as a result of ligature strangulation last Wednesday, according to Bucks County Coroner Meredith Buck.
BUCKS COUNTY, PA — The Bucks County Coroner's Office has released the cause and manner of death of the woman who was killed in a homicide in Holland last week.
According to Bucks County Coroner Meredith Buck, Samantha Rementer, 31, was killed as a result of 'ligature strangulation' on June 8. Investigators determined that she was killed after being assaulted by a friend on Clark Court in Holland.
The suspect, who remains unidentified, is currently in the hospital with injuries consistent with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Rementer's children were in the home at the time of the incident. They are currently being taken care of by family members with the help of Bucks County Children and Youth.
"The Bucks County Coroner’s Office has notified his next of kin and offers his family and friends sincerest condolences," the coroner's office said in a statement. "This matter continues to be under investigation by the Northampton Police Department and the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office."
