Northampton, Bucks County Municipal Authority Holds Water and Sewer Rates Steady for 8th Consecutive Year
NBCMA is a non-profit municipal authority.

Northampton Township, PA [November 10, 2025] — The Northampton Bucks County Municipal Authority (NBCMA) is proud to announce that water and sewer rates will remain unchanged for the eighth consecutive year. This milestone highlights NBCMA’s strong financial management, commitment to exceptional customer service, and recognition of the lasting benefits of local ownership and control.
Despite inflationary pressures and rising costs across the utility industry, NBCMA has maintained stable rates through efficient operations, strategic planning, and smart infrastructure investments. Current projects include upgrades to improve water quality and system reliability, along with modernization initiatives designed to meet the community’s needs well into the future.
“Our ability to hold rates steady for eight years—while continuing to reinvest in our system—shows the real value of local control,” said Steve McGill, Chairman of the Authority. “Unlike investor-owned utilities, NBCMA has one priority—serving our community by delivering reliable, high-quality water and sewer service at the most affordable rates possible.”
