NORTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA —The township is going to party Sunday like it's 1722.

Organizers say this year's Northampton Day Festival is a little extra special because it falls smack in the middle of the township's 300th-anniversary celebration.

"We will exhibit several projects the 300th Committee has created celebrating our township’s past, present and future, in addition to the great lineup of activities we showcase in our festival," The Northampton Day Committee said in the press release.

Sunday's entertainment lineup includes the ever-popular talent show, Puppets Pizzazz, A-Z Magic, strolling mummers and the amazing RGM Project.

The Bucks County Sheriff will distribute “Kid ID Cards” and the Temple University Medi-Vac helicopter is expected to land right on our field.

The Wheelmen, dressed in period clothing, will be on hand with several old-time bicycles and partner with police to offer a bike rodeo. The mini-horses are also returning.

Children's entertainment was added with “Giant Games”, cornhole, and a photo booth. There are also several new food options besides vendors and exhibitors.

Organizers donated $10,000 to local non-profits and scholarships to graduating high school seniors who volunteered at the festival with revenues from the last year's event.

Bringing this festival to life requires dedication on the part of our volunteers, support from our local police and fire departments as well as the Tri-Hampton Rescue Squad, Township Parks and Recreation and Public Works Departments.
