Northampton Township Marine Welcomed Home
Marine Drew Sestito returns from Afghanistan.
Northampton Township officials joined family and friends on Tuesday in welcoming Marine Lance Corporal Drew Sestito home from his deployment in Afghanistan.
The video chronicles a township tradition of placing an armed forces flag with a streamer containing the name and military organization of the deployed service person in a township building display upon their deployment.
When he or she comes home the military flag is returned to them and replaced with a personalized US flag.

Drew deployed to Afghanistan last August serving with the 6th Battalion Combat Logistics supporting Georgian Infantry Battalion. His USMC flag was placed in the township display by his mom and dad, Susan and John, on Sept. 19.
There are currently 79 flags in the display representing Northampton residents who have served in hostile areas during the 10 year period since the war in Iraq. The flags are initially armed forces flag with a streamer containing the name and military organization of the deployed service person.

There are currently five military flags awaiting its representative's return home.
