Obituary: Ruth Landes Noe, 94, of Holland

Ruth Landes Noe, 94, formerly of Holland, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 12, in New Bern, N.C.

She was born Ruth Anderson Landes on Dec. 11, 1917. Over the years she was a singer, secretary, wife, homemaker and mother, and on numerous occasions did all of them at the same time.

She married the late George A. Noe in Philadelphia on Jan. 11, 1941. They made residence in Bustleton, Holland and Newtown, Pa., where she assisted George in the creation and operation of the Holland Development Company, building residential and commercial properties for more than 25 years.

Noe is survived by all of her children.

A private funeral service at the convenience of family members will be held at the in Churchville, where she was a member of the choir for many years. There will be a memorial service conducted at a later date.
