Woman Killed By Friend In Holland Homicide, Police Say

HOLLAND, PA — The Northampton Township Police Department has released more details pertaining to a homicide that took place in the township this past Wednesday.

According to police, the victim was identified as Samantha Rementer, 31. Investigators determined that she was killed after being assaulted by a friend on Clark Court in Holland.

The suspect is currently in the hospital with injuries consistent with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Rementer's children were in the home at the time of the incident. They are currently being taken care of by family members with the help of Bucks County Children and Youth.

"Our deepest condolences are with the family of Samatha Rementer as they deal with this senseless tragedy," the police department said.

The investigation is still ongoing.
