Vehicle Stolen, DUI Arrests: Northampton Township Police Report
Police also investigated two deer-involved crashes and conducted two accident investigations.
NORTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA — The Northampton Township Police Department reported the following incidents and arrests between Oct. 20 and Nov. 2, including a stolen vehicle, three DUI arrests, and two deer-involved crashes.
October 20
- Vehicle Lockout - Patrol responded to a home on Eagle Mount Drive for a vehicle lockout. Once on location, contact was made with the vehicle owner. Using lockout tools, patrol was able to gain entry.

- Traffic Accident (Deer Involved) - Patrol responded to the 300 block of Newtown-Richboro Road for a traffic accident. Unit 1 was traveling westbound in the 300 block of Newtown-Richboro Road when a deer ran into the roadway. As a result, contact was made. Tow was not required.
- DUI Arrest - Patrol responded to the 800 block of 2nd Street Pike for the report of a well-being check. Once on location, patrol observed an individual who appeared to be asleep inside a vehicle. Through investigation, the driver was taken into custody for suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.
October 22
- Detail - Patrol participated in Operation Safe Stop, which involves monitoring school bus stops throughout the township.

- Found Dog - Patrol responded to the area of Temperance Lane and Almshouse Road for a found dog. Once on location, the patrol located the owner.
October 24
- Disabled Vehicle - Patrol found a disabled vehicle on West Bristol Road and Kay Drive, and contact was made with the owner. Patrol assisted with getting this motorist on their way. 1
October 25
- Traffic Stop/DUI Arrest - Patrol initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of Hatboro Road and Oxford Drive for multiple violations. Through investigation, the driver was taken into custody for suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.
October 26
- Found Property - Patrol responded to the 900 block of 2nd Street Pike for the report of found property. Once on location, patrol took the property and located the owner. Property was returned.
October 27
- Traffic Accident (Deer Involved) - Patrol responded to the 500 block of Churchville Lane for a traffic accident. Unit 1 was traveling westbound in the 500 block of Churchville Lane when a deer entered the roadway. As a result, contact was made. Tow was not required.
October 28
- Motor Vehicle Theft - Patrol responded to a home in the Ivyland section of the township for a motor vehicle theft. Once on location, contact was made with the owner. Information was gathered and this case was assigned to detectives.
October 29
- Lost Animal (Dog) - Complainant reported that their dog had slipped their collar and ran off in the area of Parry Way. Information was gathered, and the dog was located shortly thereafter.
October 30
- Traffic Accident - Patrol responded to the area of Bellwood Drive and Sycamore Circle for a traffic accident. Unit 1 was operating on Bellwood Drive when it struck a parked vehicle. Tow was not required.
October 31
- Traffic Stop/DUI Arrest - Patrol initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of Lower Holland Road and Chapel Drive for multiple traffic violations. Through investigations, the driver was taken into custody for suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol and/drugs.
November 1
- Found Property - Complainant reports finding someone’s property while walking their dog on Cloverly Drive. The property was taken, and the owner was located.
November 2
- Traffic Accident - Patrol responded to the area of Buck Road and Rocksville Road for a traffic accident. Unit 1 was traveling on Rocksville Road and had stopped at the stop sign at Buck Road. Unit 1 then entered onto Buck Road and made contact with unit 2, which was traveling southbound on Buck Road. Tow was not required.
During this tour, patrol handled 26 alarm calls; 33 abandoned 911 calls; 90 medical emergencies; 20 bookings; seven domestic disputes; 28 civil disputes; 159 traffic monitoring details and 38 crime prevention details.
