A Teenager Accused of Harassing Another by Text Faces Possibility of Criminal Charges
A 13-year-old West View girl who sent threatening text messages to a 15-year-old classmate last month may be punished by the court.

Charges are pending for a 13-year-old West View girl accused of harassing a fellow female classmate, 15, via text messaging, West View Police said.
The 13-year-old girl began sending threatening text messages May 2, telling the 15-year-old she was going to be kidnapped and raped. The messages described what the 15-year-old was wearing and used explicit language, according to the police report.
The 13-year-old disguised her identity from her classmate by sending the text messages through a Canadian website, www.textnow.me, using phone numbers that were not her own.
