Volunteers are needed to provide care in a group setting to the children of mothers attending life-skills training. Responsibilities include engaging the children in age-appropriate activities, keeping the children safe, monitoring their behavior and interactions, disciplining children when needed and maintaining cleanliness and organization of child care room.
The time commitment is 1.5 hours to 2.5 hours at least one Monday evening per month.
To be a child-care volunteer, you must be at least 13 years old. Other qualifications include experience working with children and good people skills.
